In 2010, BUBU emerged from the creative primordial soup in a small but cozy place in Europe. Those of us nurturing this studio are passionately driven by a dream to create cinema, bringing stories to life through cinematography, visual effects, sounds, music, and good acting. In our quest for the perfect balance among these arts, we learn every day. With modesty, we seek inspiration from great minds, big hearts, and wonderful examples in the universe we inhabit. From the beginning, BUBU has embarked on a wild ride, crafting visual effects for game cinematics, commercials, feature films, and any dimension in between! For us, the world that surrounds us can be brutal, beautiful, and very often both. Building relationships and partnerships is central to us, for it is through these bonds that we have embarked on wonderful journeys in the pursuit of beauty and meaning.
Peter co-founded BUBU 15 years ago, bringing with him more than 25 years of industry experience. With a strong foundation in visual effects and over 15 years as a director of commercials, music videos, and films, he has guided countless creative projects across formats. For Peter, storytelling lies at the heart of everything he does.
Alexander is the co-founder and cinematographer at BUBU, bringing over 20 years of experience across production and post-production. With a strong foundation in visual effects, he blends technical precision with artistic depth, shaping a modern cinematic style that is both expressive and dependable. His deep passion for storytelling is evident in every frame he crafts. Alexander draws inspiration from art, music, cinema, photography, architecture, and the richness of human experience-always seeking the next story worth telling.
With over 13 years of experience, Joanna understands that success in an artistic and technical industry requires more than skill - it takes problem solving, adaptability, and making others feel valued, because it's always a team effort. Her work on commercials, TV shows, music videos, and films has pushed her to keep growing and never stop chasing the dream.

With over six years of experience in the visual effects industry, Dana has worked on a wide range of projects, combining her creative eye as a VFX artist with her organizational skills as a project manager. She thrives in dynamic environments, ensuring that each project runs smoothly from concept to delivery. Her ability to balance technical precision with team coordination makes her a trusted professional who consistently delivers outstanding results.
